Examinations

A radiological examination can only be performed by prescription of a treating physician. We are not allowed to conduct any examinations/procedures without a referral letter.

Be sure to bring the following items with you on the day of the examination:

- application form (referral letter)
- identity card
- insurance details if applicable (e.g. work-related injury)

You do not need to make an appointment for classic X-rays (radiography or x-ray examination) if no contrast agent is needed. When in doubt, call 03 320 57 70 to determine which study it concerns.

For all other examinations, it is necessary to make an appointment by telephone at 03 320 57 70 (available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

You will be informed if specific preparation at home is required for an examination. Examinations involving contrast agent administration take longer on average, please take this into account.

The radiologist makes a report afterwards with all the findings of the examination.

Afterwards, you will receive a code/link at the counter with which you and the referring doctor can view the images and the report. Your referring doctor will discuss these results with you afterwards.

Please feel free to contact our medical service to inquire about certain tests or if you have any other questions.
